For the eighth time, the capital city will host one of the world’s most prestigious sporting events from September 13-15. Close to 300 media representatives, including nearly 200 international journalists, will cover the exciting race. Global media giants such as Sky Sports, Motorsport, Canal+, Netflix, and The Sun will cover the thrilling three-day event to audiences worldwide.
The Media Center, established by the event promoter, Baku City Circuit Operations Company, is now open for journalists. It has a capacity of 450 and provides local and international media representatives access to the services of the Media Accreditation Center and Media Center. Press conferences with teams are also held here, and journalists can direct inquiries to the reception and help desks. The Media Center is set up in full compliance with the regulations of the International Automobile Federation (FIA).
It is worth noting that in 2023, the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix attracted 90 million viewers through TV and social media platforms. According to official statistics from Formula 1, this figure was 59 million in 2022. Given the record number of fans, tourists, and ticket sales, it’s anticipated that the global audience for this year's Azerbaijan Grand Prix will set a new benchmark.
