Becoming a marshal is an opportunity that offers everyone the chance to be an integral part of one of the most exciting sports in the world –Formula 1 Grand Prix held in our country. It helps to develop collective thinking and teamwork organization skills. 

Every marshal who successfully completes the Formula 1 race weekend is awarded an international license, approved by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and issued by the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation. This license grants marshals the right to participate not only in races held in Azerbaijan but also in the Formula 1 Grand Prix and other motorsport events hosted in different countries.

Anyone over the age of 21 can become a marshal. You don't need any special skills or qualifications to start — just a huge passion for motorsports and a responsible work ethic, as safety is the key element of marshaling.
