The spectacular "F1 75 Live" event, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Formula 1 World Championship, took place at The O2 Arena in London. For the first time in F1 history, all ten teams and twenty drivers gathered on one stage to unveil their car liveries and lineups for the new season.
One of the night’s most talked-about moments was Lewis Hamilton’s debut in Ferrari red, as he stepped onto the stage with his new team. The seven-time world champion expressed his ambition to achieve great success with Ferrari. Meanwhile, McLaren, fresh off their first constructors’ title in 26 years, reaffirmed their intent to stay competitive and continue their winning momentum.
Driver transfers were another hot topic of discussion, including Carlos Sainz’s move to Williams, Esteban Ocon joining Haas, and Nico Hülkenberg switching to Sauber. Fernando Alonso, now entering his third season with Aston Martin, shared his hopes of securing victories with a car designed under the guidance of legendary engineer Adrian Newey.
Teams showcased their new liveries and sponsors for the 2025 season, with thousands of fans attending the event. The unveiling was broadcast live on Formula 1 TV and official social media channels. Among the special guests were former world champions Mika Häkkinen, Sebastian Vettel, and Alain Prost. Additionally, Max Verstappen and McLaren were honored for their outstanding performances in the 2024 season.
To close the night, Formula 1 executives announced major technical and sustainability changes from 2026, including new power units, revised aerodynamics, and more eco-friendly fuels.
The 2025 season is set to kick off in Australia from March 14-16, with pre-season testing in Bahrain from February 26-28.
The "F1 75 Live" event marked a new chapter in Formula 1 history, delivering unforgettable moments for fans worldwide. Preparations for the new season are in full swing, with excitement building for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the 17th race on the calendar, set to take place from September 19-21.
