Construction work for the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2022 commences

To ensure the safety of the citizens and drivers during the race, the installation of concrete safety blocks will commence at night time, April 15, 11 pm local time. 

The construction and installation work will kick off at the intersection of Bulbul Avenue and Khagani Street and will continue along the race track. 

Unlike last year, this year’s race will take place with the fans present. Hence, the construction of the grandstand zone has already started along the National Seaside Park. 

In addition, installation activities in the Paddock area of the track are also set to begin on April 18. 

Taking into account all the construction works in the mentioned areas, we ask the local citizens to be extra careful while driving.
